HTMS Khram Wreck

 
       HTMS Khram,This HTMS Khram Shipwreck has been well prepared by the Thai Navy for use as a dive site, andThis is completely free from armaments, both oil and most hazards to divers. At HTMS Khram the large holes have been cut in many areas and penetration dives through the ships passageways rarely takes the diver out of natural light. Divers should takecare taken with a few of the rooms though, as big steel watertight doors are still fitted and may be locked easily with the unsuspected diver still inside.

The HTMS Khram, formerly the USS LSM 469,HTMS Khram is a decommissioned warship sunk by the Thai navy in 2003 to create an artificial breeding ground for marine life. She lies in 30 metres of water a few hundred metres off the eastern coast of Koh Phai (the most northerly of Pattaya's outer islands). . Large penetration holes flooded with natural light have been cut out of the structure, the bridge, radio room and engine room are all accessible.

Visibility: 5-15m
